From Japan, we made our way to Laos. Very laid-back and sparsely populated compared to its neighbours, with only 7 million people in the entire country. We enjoyed the change of culture, having come straight from Tokyo. It’s capital, Vientiane, sits next to the Mekong River, and Thailand is only a stones throw away. Vientiane has a wonderful mix of Buddhist temples with French colonial architecture. Walking around the city we felt like we had gone back in time. Enjoy our first video from Laos.
